Milan director Paolo Maldini has confirmed talks to sign with Divock Origi.

The Belgian striker will leave Liverpool in the summer transfer window as a free agent.

Origi is believed to have agreed to sign with Milan and Maldini has now revealed that his move to the San Siro is getting closer.

“We are in talks with Origi and it seems we are doing very well,” Maldini told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 27-year-old is reportedly set to travel to Italy next week to undergo medical tests, sign his contract and officially complete his move to the Serie A champions.
