Manchester City today officially announced the transfer of Erling Haaland.
The English club confirmed the agreement in principle with the club of Borussia Dortmund.
Thus, Haaland will join the English champion from next season.
Manchester City has not revealed further details yet, but so has journalist and transfer expert Fabrizo Romano.
According to him, close to 60 million euros is the amount of the transfer of the 21-year-old to the “Etihad Stadium”. A price that is definitely small, considering the transfer prices made in recent years.
The former Salzburg striker was reported to have a € 75 million release clause, but the Premier League club seem to have managed to significantly reduce that amount.
Romano also announced that Manchester City is preparing another official announcement, where it will reveal all the other details.
Erling Haaland with “Citizens” will have a contract valid until June 30, 2027.
