Matthijs de Ligt can continue his career in the Bundesliga.
“Sky Sport Germany” has reported that Bayern Munich wants to sign the Dutch defender.
But, according to the German medium, the player’s desire is to transfer to “Allianz Arena”.
The sports director of the German club, Hasan Salihamidzic, is said to be working on this transfer. Negotiations between the parties are already ongoing.
The only problem is said to be the high price demanded by Juventus for the sale of de Ligt.
The 22-year-old has a release clause of 120 million euros, while the “Old Lady” is believed to open negotiations for the price of 80 million.
Meanwhile, it is seen as a big obstacle for Bayern to offer over 60 million euros, especially if they do not sell any players.
Matthijs de Ligt, long ago made it clear to Juventus that he wants to leave. He has a valid contract until June 30, 2024.
Chelsea has also expressed serious interest in the former Ajax defender.
