Salah demands revenge against Real

Mohamed Salah is determined to take revenge on Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

The Egyptian striker has been waiting for this opportunity for a long time after he was injured by Sergio Ramos at the beginning of the match, in the 2018 final, which Liverpool had lost to “Los Blancos”.

And now, the 29-year-old is more motivated than ever to beat Madrid in the Paris final.

“I remember when I left after 30 minutes in that game, it was the worst moment of my career,” recalls Salah.

“I was devastated. I had a good season and then I was playing the first final of the Champions. Leaving the game so early was the worst thing that could have happened to me,” he continued.

“I understood the result while I was in the hospital. I thought we would not lose that game. I had never felt that way before in football,” added the former footballer from Basel, Chelsea, Fiorentina and Roma.

However, he is now focused on Saturday’s final, which he aims to win, to bring Liverpool their seventh Champions League trophy.

Salah was injured recently and there were fears he could miss out on the Paris final as well.

But he is ready and available to coach Jurgen Klopp for the duel with Madrid this weekend.
