Antonio Rudiger admits he is happy at Chelsea but refuses to rule out a return to Serie A during the summer transfer window.
The German international sees his contract expire at the end of the season and there are reports that Juventus have been lined up to secure his services in July.
Rudiger is available to sign a pre-contract deal before a free transfer at the end of the season.
The former Roma defender spoke to Sky Sport Italia after Chelsea’s 2-1 win over Lille last night and refused to rule out a return to Italy.
“At the moment I am here, I am happy here, we will see, we will see…,” Rudiger told Sky Sport Italia.
Rudiger answered questions in English, but also added a word in Italian: ‘donkey’, which translates to ‘maybe’ or ‘hope’.
The 29-year-old played 72 games during his two-year spell at Roma.
He joined Chelsea in the summer of 2017 and played 161 games for the Blues, where he played under two Italian coaches: Antonio Conte and Maurizio Sarri.
