Antonio Rudiger is the first footballer to leave Chelsea after the end of this season.
The German defender has entered the final year of his contract with the Londoners and will not eventually renew it.
Chelsea have tried for a year now to extend the German’s contract, but it was Rudiger himself who turned down offers from his current club.
The 29-year-old has turned down any offers from Chelsea, as his demands were for a salary of around 15 million euros per season.
Considering that Chelsea will no longer offer him a new contract, Rudiger’s agents have entered into negotiations with two top European clubs.
Skys Sports has reported that the player’s agents are now in talks with Real Madrid and Paris Saint Germain about the possible transfer of the German.
Other interested teams such as Bayern Munich, Juventus, Roma, Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona have also been removed from the competition.
According to Sky Sports, Rudiger will end up with one team between Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid, as only these two teams are ready to meet his financial requirements.
