Cristiano Ronaldo is 37 years old, but the Manchester United striker hopes to continue playing football for another four or five years.
The Portuguese international has had a lot of criticism this season, despite scoring 15 goals in 29 games for United in all competitions.
However, criticism does not deter Ronaldo, who thinks of playing active football and at high levels even after the age of 40.
“I know there are not many years before I stop playing, I hope four or five, but I hope to continue to win things,” Ronaldo initially said in an interview with DAZN.
“My life has been a very beautiful journey. I have left traces wherever I have been.”
“I do not think there is a player in history who can reach, well, the numbers he can reach, but he has the pride to say ‘wherever I have been, I have left a mark’ and that makes me happy.”
