American fans dream of seeing Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo playing in the MLS football championship.
But how likely is it that the two best footballers in the world of the last decade will end up in the United States of America !?
The former English footballer, David Beckham, currently the owner of the Inter Miami club, has taken care to give an answer in this direction.
“I have always said that our club counts and tries to have the best players, we have high expectations. Sometimes, things go wrong. When I started this project, people were sure we would transfer Ronaldo and Messi. In the end weight leads the victory, with young or with stars. Our fans would be happy if we had stars on the team. “They would be even happier if our youngsters won a trophy,” Beckham told the Miami Herald.
It is possible that stars like Ronaldo and Messi will close their careers across the Atlantic and the Inter Miami team would be an opportunity for them to do so.
