Juventus has officially confirmed the extension of the one-year contract for Juan Cuadrado.
The Colombian’s contract was automatically extended for another season after his 40th appearance with the “Old Lady” against Cagliari last week.
His new contract will now expire in June 2023 and Juventus has confirmed his extension with an official statement.
However, the Bianconeri are still negotiating with his agent Alessandro Lucci for a longer deal for the 33-year-old.
The Serie A giants would offer him a new contract until 2024 to distribute his € 5 million-a-year salary and pay their salary bill.
Lucci is also the representative of Leonardo Bonucci and Mattia Perin. The goalkeeper has also extended his contract expiring in Turin until 2025. The Serie A giants announced yesterday a new deal with the former Genoa star.
Cuadrado joined Juventus from Chelsea in 2015 and has scored 24 goals in 262 appearances with the Bianconeri. He has also played with Udinese, Lecce and Fiorentina in Serie A.
