Juventus managed to beat Firontina in the first semifinal match of the Italian Cup with a score of 1-0.

The match did not bring many chances, with the local Fiorentina being the most demanding.

The only good chance in the first half came in the 26th minute, when Frenchman Jonathan Ikone shot nicely but failed to score.

Even at the beginning of the second half, Ikone had a good chance, but this time he was stopped by the post.

When the match was expected to close, a Juventus action without much pretensions brought the goal.

With this victory Juve makes a big step towards the final of the Italian Cup.

The return match will take place on April 20 at the “Allianz Stadium”.
