Pep Guardiola has welcomed the transfer of Erling Haaland to Manchester City.
The current English champions recently formalized their newest reinforcement and the Norwegian striker will play under the Spanish coach from next season.
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach says he enjoys working with players of the caliber of current Borussia Dortmund footballer, who could help him achieve new successes and rise as a coach.
“Haaland will adapt quickly to the way we want to play. “A good signal for the future, I hope it will be here for many years,” said the Spanish coach initially.
“I like working with great players. They make you a good coach. “An extraordinary talent, we will help him as much as possible,” Guardiola concluded.
Haaland will close this season with the Yellows in Germany, while from next season he will try to help the team where his father also played.
The former Salzburg footballer has reportedly cost City around 60 million euros.
