The German national team has recorded its first victory in this edition of the League of Nations.
After three draws in a row, the Germans scored a convincing victory against Italy in the fourth round match in Group 3 of League A.
The match held tonight at the “Borussia-Park” stadium ended with the result 5: 2.
Joshua Kimmich (10 ‘), Ilkay Gundogan (45 + 4’ – penalty), Thomas Muller (51 ‘) and Timo Werner (68’, 69 ‘) scored the winning goals for the locals.
Wilfried Gnonto (78 ‘) and Alessandro Bastoni (90 + 4’) scored goals for the Italians.
Germany after this victory has six points and is ranked second in the group, while Italy is third with one point less.
