Ferran Torres burst into tears at the end of Barcelona’s Europa League’s match against Napoli last night, after a series of occasional losses.
The former Manchester City striker scored the equalizer for the Catalans from the penalty spot, but missed two golden opportunities to score the win and could not hide his despair at the end of the match, after the 1: 1 draw.
Napoli defender Giovanni Di Lorenzo tried to comfort him, but the Spanish striker refused to admit it.
Meanwhile, Barcelona coach Xavi believes that Torres will leave these times behind and reveals that the Spaniard has the full confidence of the club.
“The Barcelona jersey weighs a few kilograms more. But I am happy to have him on the team,” Xavi told Ferran Torres.
