Patrice Evra has said that the players go to Manchester United and PSG for money.
Evra is currently working as a field expert to cover the Amazon Prime Italia Champions League.
He was on the panel with Claudio Marchisio and Clarence Seedorf before the Juventus-Villarreal match, when he talked about players who are choosing more the money than the project.
“Players go to Manchester United for money, not history. They go to PSG for money and to live in a beautiful city.”
“That is why I hope that Juventus will maintain this mentality that it has. Players like Vlahovic and Locatelli, they loved Juventus even before they came here. This is what they have to keep this club like.”
“Money is destroying everything in football,” he said.
Evra has experienced all this, as he was at the PSG youth academy, played for Manchester United from 2006 to 2014, then wore the Juventus jersey until 2017.
