Christian Eriksen has reached a verbal agreement to join Manchester United.
The news was announced by the British medium “The Athletic”.
The Danish midfielder has announced that he wants to play at “Old Trafford” and that he is ready to accept the three-year offer of the “Red Devils”.
The club is preparing the contract and after it is finalized, the 30-year-old will undergo medical examinations and then sign the contract.
Eriksen is a free agent after ending his experience at Brentford, where he played 11 games in the second half of last season, scoring one goal.
The attacking footballer previously played for Tottenham in the period 2013-2022.
He then joined Inter, with whom he left after the heart attack he had at Euro 2020, due to the fact that in Italy he was not allowed to play with a heart defibrillator.
Eriksen started his career at Ajax, while he is one of the best midfielders in Europe in the last decade.
