Benzema has become the first French player to win the Golden Boot of the Champions League in the new era of this competition.

The Frenchman showed extraordinary form helping Real Madrid win its 14th European title.

This was also the fifth for the former Lyon footballer, who closed the season with 15 goals scored this edition in the Champions.
