Karim Benzema has refused to comment on Kylian Mbappe’s decision to stay in Paris Saint-Germain.
The French striker stressed that he is fully focused on Real Madrid’s Champions League final against Liverpool on Saturday.
Asked what he would say to his compatriot about the fact that he turned down an offer from Real Madrid to sign a new contract with PSG, Benzema indicated that this is not the time to discuss Mbappe’s future.
“I would say that [Real Madrid] will play in the Champions League final and this is not the time to talk about these little things,” Benzema told Movistar +.
“No, [I prefer not to speak]. I’m not angry. I’m focused on the Champions League final. It is more important to do this than to hear other things.”
