Andres Iniesta has opened the door for a possible return to Barcelona, ??after admitting that he still values ??this club as his home.
Iniesta enjoyed a brilliant career at the Camp Nou, which lasted nearly two decades, winning numerous titles in La Liga and the Champions League.
The Spanish midfielder played a key role in one of Barca’s best teams in history, alongside Lionel Messi and Xavi, but left the club in 2018 to join Vissel Kobes in Japan.
Iniesta will turn 38 in May, but he does not intend to hang his shoes on the nail and would welcome the opportunity to return to Catalonia, if it comes.
“I would like to return to Barcelona. I would like to help the institution. There are many things involved and it is difficult to know what will happen in the future,” said Iniesta.
“Barca is my home and nowhere else can I be better than there. Today I really like to think about playing. This thing attracts me the most today,” he added.
