Barcelona are eager to secure Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves as a replacement for Sergio Busquets.

The talented 25-year-old has long been linked with major European clubs, including Manchester United and Arsenal in England.

However, the Portuguese Wolves star already has a squad behind him and English clubs will have stiff competition.

According to the newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona loves Neves and is willing to pay around 50 million euros to provide his services.

The Portuguese midfielder has established an excellent partnership with his compatriot, Joao Moutinho, often beating the midfielders of the best teams in the Premier League and his appearances have convinced Barcelona.

Neves is likely to be targeted by Barcelona if they do not think there is a player on the youth team good enough to take over from Busquets in the next year or two.
