Gareth Bale eventually left Real Madrid, but apparently not from Spain either.
The Welsh footballer actually has the opportunity to continue his career in La Liga.
Spanish media report that the former Tottenham footballer could end up in Getafe.
The president of the Spanish club, Angel Torres, took care to reveal this news, during the presentation of the new jerseys.
“I was offered Gareth Bale this morning. I need to think and talk to the coach. “I do not know if he will come here,” Torres said.
For Bale, Getafe would be a good opportunity to continue living in Madrid and on this occasion to prepare as well as possible for the World Cup in Qatar.
He knows La Liga well enough, having played there for a long time and does not want to risk returning to the Premier League, a few months before the World Cup, where he will participate for the first time in his career with Wales.
It remains to be seen if Getafe will be able to pay the high salary of the Welsh representative, which would be a big boost for this club.
