Sergio Aguero stated that he wants to play football, but fears that his condition may worsen.

The former striker was forced to retire from football following medical advice from his doctors, much to the chagrin of fans around the world.

According to TYC Sports, he said he no longer watches football or the news, as he is not interested in what is happening.

“I want to play today, but I’m scared. I have trained all my life to the maximum and in big races. I do not watch football or news, I do not care what is happening. I focus on what I like most, like friends. Returning to play comes to my mind occasionally, but I know it’s something I can not do. I was told I was lucky because I could have easily had a heart attack. Now is the time to relax. I am happy with what I am doing,” said Aguero.

Shortly after winning the Copa America with Argentina and starting to play for Barcelona, ??Aguero was diagnosed with a cardiac arrhythmia, forcing him to retire early from football.
