AC Milan has been declared the Serie A champion for the 2021/22 edition.

The Reds triumphed 3-0 in the last game of the season against Sassuolo on the road, to lift the trophy after 11 years of waiting.

Giroud with two goals and Kessie with another, were the scorers.

Inter also scored a 3-0 victory, but it was not enough as Milan had to be defeated by Sassuolo.

Milan finished the season with 86 points, two more than Inter in second place.

Milan and Inter rivaled each other for the Scudetto, especially in the last laps, making the race very interesting.
