Borussia Dortmund has not lost time to replace coach Marco Rose who was fired days ago.
The German giant has appointed the new coach, who knows the team quite well after having previously worked at Signal Iduna Park.
Edin Terzic has been confirmed by the club as a new coach, signing a three-year contract until the summer of 2025.
The 39-year-old Croatian has been part of the yellows since 2010 in various positions such as scout, assistant coach in the age group and coach of the U16 team.
Terzic took charge of Dortmund’s first team from 13 December 2020 until 30 June 2021 where he also won the German Cup.
He has recently been the technical director of Dortmund and is now entrusted with leading the first team.
“Edin knows our club and a large part of the team. “He knows what adjustments we want to make to offer our supporters successful football again,” board member Sebastian Kehl told the media.
