Xavi Hernandez has spoken about the future of Ousmane Dembele, which has been pending for months now.
The French footballer will expire his contract with Barcelona at the end of this season and it seems that he is determined to try a new experience.
The Catalan giant would like to continue the cooperation with the former Borussia Dortmund footballer.
However, the footballer is not giving signs to stay at the “Camp Nou” after five years spent there.
“Everyone goes where they want, especially when their contracts expire. “Look at Mbappe… I can only say positive things about Ousmane,” said the Spanish coach.
“We will see if Dembele stays here. Negotiations are taking place, but I will always wish him the best,” Xavi continued.
Meanwhile, Barcelona sporting director Matthew Alemany has also spoken about the footballer, who is linked with a possible move to Paris Saint-Germain.
“Ousmane and his managers are the only ones who know what they are going to do. We have not had news for 6-7 months. “I have a personal opinion on all that Dembele is doing, but at the moment it is not important”, stressed Alemany
He was close to leaving the Camp Nou in January, but that did not happen.
Afterwards, he showed solid form and “Blaugrana” expressed interest in continuing the cooperation, but the French representative is not satisfied with the offer given to him by the club.
