Karim Benzema showed once again on Thursday night why he is being established as a Real Madrid legend and one of the best goal scorers in the history of the club.

His goal against Levante was the 323rd with the colors of Real Madrid, which saw him equal Raul Gonzalez’s record as the second best goal scorer in the history of the club.

He is now just behind Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored 451 goals during his time at Real Madrid.

Benzema is Real Madrid’s third best goal scorer in the history of La Liga Santander, with 219 goals after 228 by Raul and 312 by Ronaldo.

The 34-year-old is improving with age. He has now scored 44 goals in all competitions this season, surpassing his previous best total of 32 goals in the 2011/12 and 2020/21 seasons.

He has scored 425 career goals (323 for Real Madrid, 66 for Lyon and 36 for France), which makes him the best French goal scorer in history, surpassing Thierry Henry by a total of 411.
