Benzema is Real Madrid’s third best goal scorer in the history of La Liga Santander, with 219 goals after 228 by Raul and 312 by Ronaldo.
The 34-year-old is improving with age. He has now scored 44 goals in all competitions this season, surpassing his previous best total of 32 goals in the 2011/12 and 2020/21 seasons.
