Massimiliano Allegri insists he has not regretted his decision to reject Real Madrid and return to Juventus.

The Old Lady coach was in front of the media today before Saturday’s Serie A match against Bologna at the Allianz Stadium.

Allegri turned down a job at Real Madrid last summer, deciding to return to Juventus, signing a four-year contract.

He had previously claimed that he had not regretted his choice. Today he was asked if he had changed his mind after Los Blaocos qualifying for the Champions League semi-finals.

“Aspak. “I am happy to be back here.”

“My 10-year-old son lives here in Turin and that is another reason I decided to return. “I wanted to work with Juventus again and have a good four years, building something meaningful.”

“I do not regret it. I am lucky and I am working at a good level. “I got a lot of pleasure and I hope that more will come together with the club”, declared Allegri.

Allegri won 11 trophies during his first five-year period in Turin between 2014 and 2019.

He also reached the Champions League final twice, but lost to Barcelona (2015) and Real Madrid (2017).
