Manchester City scored the victory in the first semi-final match against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The match held tonight at the “Etihad Stadium” gave a spectacle, after seven goals were scored.

The victory belonged to the team led by Pep Guardiola with the result 4: 3.

After the match, Carlo Ancelotti said that no his team did not make good defense tonight.

“We could have defended ourselves better. At least we did well with the ball. No, it was not the plan to play an open game. The plan was to better defend ourselves. Pep can say the same thing, the strikers had a better game than the defenders,” said the Real Madrid coach.

“Of course City has the advantage, but at the Bernabeu everything is open,” added Ancelotti.

The return match between these two teams will take place on May 4 at the “Santiago Bernabeu”.
