Kane will stay at Tottenham

Harry Kane will reportedly stay at Tottenham Hotspur this summer due to Manchester City’s move to Erling Haaland.

Manchester City appear to be on the verge of securing Haaland’s signature, which has further reduced the England captain’s options this summer.

According to the Times, Kane is more likely to stay in north London next season.

Tottenham are currently the favorites to finish fourth in the Premier League and qualify for the Champions League next season.

As a result, this factor, along with the lack of alternative options, has led Kane to decide to re-evaluate his future. He will turn 29 this summer and will have a two-year contract with Spurs.

Kane is also unlikely to go abroad, as he has set himself the goal of breaking Alan Shearer’s 260-goal record in the Premier League and is currently fifth on the Premier League list with 178.

He also aims to become the top scorer in Tottenham history. The 28-year-old currently has 243 goals in all competitions and aims to beat Jimmy Greaves’s 266 club record.
