Cristiano Ronaldo will not play tonight for Manchester United against Liverpool, in the Premier League derby.
The 37-year-old announced last night that his newborn son has passed away, while CR7 with his partner, Georgina Rodriguez were expecting twins
“Family is more important than anything and Ronaldo is supporting his beloved family in these difficult moments,” the English club wrote.
“For this, we inform you that he will not play in the match against Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday night and we will ask for the required privacy to be respected”, the announcement of the “Red Devils” continues.
Ronaldo announced last night the loss of one of the babies and stressed that this was the biggest pain he has ever experienced.
Thankfully, his daughter survived.
Liverpool fans meanwhile have warned that tonight in the seventh minute they will clap for a minute to honor and comfort the Portuguese star, who is going through difficult emotional moments.
