Klopp confirms Alexander-Arnold injury, the Englishman will be out for a few weeks

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Trent Alexander-Arnold has suffered a thigh injury and will be out for a few weeks.

Alexander-Arnold has suffered a thigh injury and will miss the FA Cup quarter-final against Nottingham Forest on Sunday.

It was coach Jurgen Klopp who revealed today (Friday) that the Reds right-back will be out for ‘a few weeks’ with this problem.

The new defender means he will also not be available for England for the upcoming internationals this month.

“Trent is out with a thigh injury,” Klopp initially told the club’s official website.

“He can also not be part of England – there is no good news, we will see how long it lasts.”

Klopp was then asked if Alexander-Arnold would be out for weeks and replied: “Yes.”
