Barcelona has reportedly expressed interest in Kalidou Koulibaly, whose transfer he will attempt during the summer transfer window.
Xavi Hernandez is said to have been impressed by the defender in the Europa League match against Napoli and he did not hesitate to ask President Joan Laporta to attempt his transfer.
According to “El Nacional”, Barca sees Koulibaly as a replacement for Ronald Araujo, who has not yet agreed to renew his contract, which expires next year.
However, his transfer to the “Camp Nou” is being seen as a problem as the 30-year-old is believed to be happy in Italy. Also, Napoli will hardly accept his departure, as he is considered one of the key players in the Neapolitans.
However, the Senegalese quarterback is believed to be the Catalans’ favorite option. And, its price of around 30 million euros, is not seen as a problem.
Kalidou Koulibaly’s contract with Napoli expires next summer.
