Borussia Dortmund is interested in striker Timo Werner, as the German is seen as a possible replacement for Erling Haaland.
The Norwegian is very likely to leave in the summer from the ‘millionaires’ with many clubs that are interested in him.
Sky Sports Germany writes that Borussia Dortmund has not yet entered into direct negotiations with Chelsea, but has talks with Werner’s agent, Volker Struth, as they remained in contact after the signing of Niklas Sule, who is one of his other clients.
What makes it a bit difficult to get the striker is the price of the player, as Chelsea have paid a lot for him.
Two years ago, Chelsea put 53 million euros on the table to get Werner from RB Leipzig.
He has a contract that lasts until 2025 and a salary of 16 million euros per season.
