The Dutch midfielder has become a target for Manchester United, especially after the arrival of coach Erik ten Hag, who intends to reunite with the footballer, with whom he also worked at Ajax.

The 25-year-old still has a contract with Barcelona, but the Catalan giant is planning to sell the Dutch representative as he is not doing well at all with finances.

And, the former Man Utd coach has advised his former club not to hesitate and buy the creative midfielder’s card.

According to him, De Jong is a good investment and a big boost for any club that buys it.

It remains to be seen over the summer whether the 25-year-old will end up at Old Trafford or not.
