Following the extension of Kylian Mbappe’s contract, Paris Saint-Germain are interested in refreshing their squad, with the possible departure of Neymar.
PSG is looking to take advantage of the Brazilian striker, although it is tricky. His salary may be declining every season, but it is currently € 30 million a year.
As such, the Ligue 1 club is aware that there are not many teams that can afford to meet Neymar’s salary requirements.
However, if they manage to oust the Brazilian, they could transfer Villarreal’s Arnaut Danjuma, who is on PSG’s shortlist for potential Neymar replacements.
Danjuma had an extraordinary season, especially in the Champions League, for the Unai Emery team.
He arrived at the club for just over € 20 million and, as MARCA reported, his buyout clause has been set at around € 53 million.
